Great information for the elderly on using a walker safely... Another great review of a rollator - check it out and leave comments!
Hey, guys, it's Ernest here. Haven't written in a couple of weeks but I'm back on board blogging for you about my experience using rollator walkers. I recently had to purchase a new walker because my old one, one of the wheels, broke off. This is unusual occurrence I don't think it will happen to you you buy offers that I recommend, but the reason why I had to go shopping online for walker.
So I went online and I was googling and just trying to find a great resource for reviews that would allow me to figure out what would be the best resource for me. I came across rockandrollator.com. This is a really great website because it has product reviews, customer testimonials, range of images of the items that most people are looking to buy. When I went on the website, the first thing I noticed is that used a really clear comparison chart, which allowed me to filter the top recommended rollators and I'll see which ones fit my needs the best. Many sites don't offer this type of solution, which I find frustrating because as a consumer what I'm looking for when I'm searching online for the best but by is a really clear delineation of different types of features and specifications that the best rated items usually have. So, in conclusion this is a really great website, it loaded really fast and have a lot of great information about different research that has been done concerning medical walkers and eldercare issues in general. In general it's important to think about senior care, and elder living because these are the people that these products are usually made for, so it's always good to know exactly how these these items will service those individuals. The second site that I found really useful was a government site that has a lot of great information about medical care devices, particularly related to the items that I was looking to buy. The government, sometimes maligned, is really a great resource for information and current research along different product lines that most people are actively searching trying to find answers for and about. I just wanted to amend this post to include another, new site that I have found that I think is an excellent resource for rollator reviews - it is called rollatorreviews.org. Definitely check them out - they have terrific information, and a very lively blog that contains up to date information regarding elder care and mobility products. Again, this is a great website to understand the baseline research that goes into eldercare and senior living forms. Mobility aids and other items similar to that for an aging population are very tricky to purchase, so going to a government website is gonna give you a lot of information front and center and also provide you some useful and trustworthy links if you're looking to make a purchase that day. The third website that I found useful was actually the Drive Medical website. This is actually manufacturer of these items and although you would expect some of the reviews to be biased some information that they provide to be slanted towards promoting their own products, this is actually really great place to start as well because they are one of the top producers of walkers so you know that you're getting great product right off the bat. One of the first medical walkers I used was from drive. So, I am a little biased, because I had such a great experience using the product but if you're looking to purchase one of these items it's not just a great place to go to buy one but it's also a great place to go to understand a little bit more about what these devices do, the functionalities that they have, and the number of different specifications that typically are provided when they are shipped to you. In conclusion, check out the three sites that I recommended. I just happened in the market for a new walker so that's why I'm working, but I'm also looking because I really care about my audience and my fans I just want to why the best information to you so that you can make the best informed decision for yourself. I thought I would share a great video review of a rollator walker that I came across. Check it out! Also, check out my new contact page!
Hello, world. My name is Ernest. This is my first blog post and I'm really new to the Internet so please be gentle. Just kidding. I'm a grandfather that is mobility impaired. I live in Colorado and I enjoy a really active lifestyle. These two things are not mutually exclusive. What I've learned to do in my life, is to address challenges head-on. So after I became impaired after a workplace accident I had to learn how to adapt. And one of the ways that I did that this I started using mobility device. The mobility device that I chose was the rollator walker. This is not a hard sell or come on, but I just wanted to let people know on the Internet all the fans I soon hope to have that I really got a lot of benefit out of using one of these devices. Most certainly there is a lot of stigma when it comes to mobility devices. Especially with men who have a lot of ego and machismo, they really don't want to be seen using a device like this. My advice-get over yourself and learn how to use one of these devices if you are, in fact, impaired in some way that limits your movement. That said, the purpose of this blog is going to be to provide reviews and advice and information concerning these mobility devices. I hope to be able to identify websites and other tools that provide insight into how walkers are used in the best places to find purchase them. What I've noticed on the Internet there's a lot of misinformation about these items, so if I can provide some clarity around their functioning that will be a great victory for me. And I hope for you as well. A funny backstory about my first time using a little of her walker, was that I first received it in the mail, and I purchased it from Amazon.com, to be sure, was that when I opened it I started using it I immediately fell over. Now this doesn't sound so funny but the problem was was that I hadn't latched the device properly in place and I felt like a real novice. Now I'm an expert and I guarantee you that it's really simple to use these things and you'd have to be a real simpleton to not know how to do it correctly the first time. With all that said, I hope that this Internet endeavor of mine it's fruitful that I get to meet a lot of fans that help you all along the way and using a walker, but only if you need it! |
